About the Author: Alister Benn is a full-time professional landscape photographer, educator, and musician. For more than a decade, he has been teaching expressive landscape photography and believes that expression and creativity are intuitive to all of us. Strict, rule-based education actually creates barriers and walls between us and our unique voice. Alister is the author of numerous eBooks covering various aspects of the creative and expressive process. He co-founded Expressive Photography Ltd with his wife Ann Kristin Lindaas. They live together in a small village on the west coast of Scotland.

In 2021, Alister became a member of the Royal Photographic Society in the UK.
